In January of 2024, we celebrated the launch of “Toolkit: An Organizer's Guide to Executive Action” at a special briefing co-organized by Workshop and the Ford Foundation. Hosted by Livia Lam and Sarita Gupta, panelists included former appointees and movement leaders Vonda McDaniels, Jocelyn Frye, and Alex Hertel-Fernandez. We heard from advocacy leaders about how Toolkit can be applied in their work and how to leverage these lessons at a local level.
